The Gale Encyclopedia of Nursing and Allied Health (2nd edition, 2006) contains over 850 entries, some with illustrations, covering basic topics of interest to students. Coverage includes body systems and functions, devices and equipment, professional issues, techniques and practices, and some conditions and common diseases. Entries include definitions of key terms, as well as references to related books, articles, and organizations’ websites. Hyperlinks to related encyclopedia entries are included.
Our licensing agreements require that off campus access to most of these electronic resources be limited to students, faculty and staff of The College of New Jersey. However, all resources are available from within the library.
