Off Campus Access

Authorized TCNJ Users

Authorized TCNJ Users (current students, faculty, or staff members) can access most electronic resources (e.g. TCNJ Library Catalog and subscription databases) from outside of the library. Note: Some subscription databases can only be accessed from within the library.

Access information can be found on subscription database pages (e.g. EBSCOhost, Lexis-Nexis, JSTOR) on the library web site.

TCNJ Proxy Access

TCNJ proxy access allows authorized users to use subscription databases while connecting through a non-TCNJ Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as AOL, Worldnet, MSN, etc. When you select one of our subscription databases, you will be asked for your TCNJ e-mail account username and password.

Troubleshooting Connections To Databases

TCNJ users that experience problems connecting to databases may need to connect through our Temporary Database Links. These resources are temporarily available only from an on-campus network PCs or using dial-up networking. We apologize for the inconvenience.
